Edu-vacation in Secret Garden Village

The vacation time is here! Some people dreading travel with their family, moreover when they have small children. Only around 40 minutes from Seminyak, you can visit some of Bali’s best-loved scenic spots, such as Lake Beratan, Lake Buyan, Lake Tamblingan. If you wish to sprinkle some fun “studying” session for your children on holiday, just minutes away from Beratan Lake, Secret Garden Village can be found.

The site boasted a magnificent view of Bedugul and situated on approximately 35,000 square meters, it ensures a great day out for the family. Secret Garden Village itself has several facilities, starting from Oemah Herborist, Black Eye Coffee & Roastery, Rice View Grill Wine & Scenery, The Luwus Restaurant, Bebek Timbungan Restaurant, and The Secret Chamber which functioned as a wedding chapel and events. Claiming as an educational vacation site, Secret Garden Village offered are short coffee tour and beauty tour at the site. Visitors can learn more about coffee, how it was processed from beans selection, roasting to the end product. Guests will also be presented with tools used to produce and enjoy coffee at the olden times. Tour will be ending with a mini theater showing a short documentary of coffee.

The Beautiness tour allows the visitor to see the museum of equipment and ingredients that are used traditionally to take care of skin conditions. After that, the small beauty factory shows how products as soap, face cream body lotion, etc. were made. Kids and adults can try to pipe their own design of soap in the soap making class. Same with the coffee tour, at the end of it a mini-theater playing documentary about beauty can be found. If you wish to have some souvenirs for friends back home (or for yourself), they also sell the beauty products on-site at an affordable price. After tours, you can replenish your energy in the restaurant with picturesque greenery views. Don’t forget to explore the site to richen your Instagram feed and to commemorate the visit as the Secret Garden Village has a lot of several spots to take pictures!

Entrance fee: IDR 50,000 for adult and IDR 35,000 for a child.
